NAMPA - Northwest Nazarene Faculty Athletic Representative Duane Slemmer recognized two teams and all of the women's student-athletes this morning during Community Chapel in the Brandt Center.

The Crusader women's soccer team and head coach Jamie Lindvall and the Crusader volleyball team and head coach Jared Sliger received their plaques for posting the top team GPA in the GNAC.  This is the first year for the volleyball team and the fourth-consecutive year for the women's soccer team to earn the award.

Head Track & Field coach John Spatz accepted the plaque for the GNAC Women's All-Sports Academic Award.  This is the fourth-consecutive year the NNU female student-athletes have earned the honor, posting the top combined GPA for all female student-athletes in the GNAC.
