Nampa, ID - The Northwest Nazarene University softball program announced today that
Chelsea Allsbrook and Ashley Azarow have each signed National Letters-of-Intent to attend NNU and play for the Crusaders this fall.
Allsbrook (Jr., 5-7, R/R 1B/3B, Moses Lake, WA/Moses Lake Christian) comes to Nampa having played the last two seasons at Wenatchee Valley College in Wenatchee, Wash. She earned second-team all-NWAACC East Region honors this spring, hitting .369 with 48 hits and 35 RBI, as her team finished 38-9 overall and captured the East Region Division Championship.
Azarow (Fr., 5-5, R/R, SS/OF, Salt Lake City, UT/Juan Diego Catholic) joins the Crusaders from Juan Diego Catholic High School in Draper, Utah. Ashley was named a 2010 Deseret News All-State 3A honorable-mention selection this spring as Juan Diego Catholic advanced to the second-round of the Utah 3A State Softball Championships.
