WILDER, Idaho - Northwest Nazarene's Aaron VanDeHey had a individual season-best round of 73 Tuesday to lead Northwest Nazarene to a third-place team finish in the College of Idaho Invitational at River Bend Golf Course in Wilder, Idaho.
The Crusaders carded a team score of 308 and finished with a 911 total. Concordia (Ore.) beat host College of Idaho 880-893 to win the team title. NNU finished with rounds of 301 and 302 on Monday, followed by today's 308.
VanDeHey finished eighth with a 54-hole total of 226, including rounds of 75, 78 and 73.
NNU placed three golfers in the Top 15 as Zach Grunig finished 11th with a 227 total and Rowdy Hope finished 15th with a 230 score. Hope had a 74 Tuesday.
Concordia's Jed Dalton fired his third consecutive one-under-par 71 to win medalist honors with a 213 score.
