SPOKANE, Wash. - Northwest Nazarene's Drew Eisinger was named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference men's basketball Player-of-the-Week after helping lead the Crusaders to a road sweep of Saint Martin's and Western Oregon last weekend.
Eisinger, (G, 6-3, 170, Jr., Mill Creek, WA – Jackson) scored 47 points, including a NNU season high 33 in a 101-86 win at Western Oregon on Saturday afternoon. Eisinger made 14 of 23 shots, including his last eight attempts against WOU. He also made five of six treys and 14 of 15 foul shots. His 33-point total is the second highest this winter in the GNAC. He also added eight rebounds, seven assists and a team-high six steals.
The pair of victories evened the Crusaders at 2-2 in league play and 10-5 overall.
NNU will play a single game this weekend, hosting Montana State University Billings on Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. at the Johnson Sports Center in Nampa.
