Dranginis, Grant, and Hevern named to GNAC Volleyball All-Conference Team

SPOKANE, Wash. - Named to the Great Northwest Athletic Conference volleyball all-conference team for the fourth-consecutive year, Cammy Dranginis leads a trio of Crusaders named to the GNAC all-star team, announced this week by the conference office.
 
Dranginis, a senior from Nampa, Idaho, was named to the second-team of the 2009 squad, adding to her three previous years of being named to the GNAC first-team.  Cammy finishes her career as the GNAC all-time leader in total blocks with 472, ranks 8th all-time in the GNAC in kills with 1,254, and was the 2006 GNAC Freshman-of-the-Year.
 
Grant, a senior from Nampa, Idaho and Hevern, a junior from Central Point, Ore., were each named as honorable mention selections to the all-conference team.  Grant finishes her career at NNU with 1,109 kills and 1,317 digs, ranking in the top-15 all-time in the GNAC in both categories.
 
Hevern averaged 5.55 digs per game this season and finished the year ranked 11th-nationally, helping the Crusaders finish the season ranked 2nd-nationally in digs per game at 18.94 as a team.  She has amassed a total of 1,066 digs in her first three seasons and already ranks 9th all-time in the GNAC in digs per game with a career average of 4.50.
