Men's Women's
CALDWELL, Idaho - Justin Webb and Joe Lovell led a group of Northwest Nazarene cross country team members that competed at the Coyote Twilight on Thursday evening, hosted by The College of Idaho, at Fairview Golf Course in Caldwell.
Webb finished 16th overall with a time of 25:13 over the 8K course, while Lovell was 38th in 26:26. Hank Hetrick finished 44th (26:42), Josh Merioles was 53rd (27:21), and Caleb Reynolds finished 54th (27:31).
Chelsea Layne was the lone women's team member competing, finishing 28th with a time of 20:47 over the 5K layout.
"Chelsea ran a really good race and I felt that both Justin (Webb) and Joe (Lovell) really stepped it up and ran phenomenal races," commented NNU assistant coach Ben Gall.
Greg Montgomery won the men's individual title (C of I, 23:55), while Karlee Coffey held the women's top position (Eastern Oregon, 16:56). The C of I won both team crowns, as the Coyote men slipped past Eastern Oregon 26 to 32, while the Coyote women outpointed Eastern Oregon 24 to 31.
