Beth Johnson grabbed a career-best 14 rebounds as the Crusaders cruised in a 76-32 victory over the University of Great Falls on Saturday night in a non-conference game at the Johnson Sports Center in Nampa.
Briaunna King also reached double-figures as she produced a 12 point, 12 rebound double-double, the first of her young collegiate career. The freshman from Redmond, Oregon has reached double-digits on the glass twice in only four games.
The Crusaders, now 2-2 overall, will host The Hampton Inn & Suites Classic next weekend in Nampa, welcoming Humboldt State University, Regis University, and Western Oregon University to Nampa for the Thanksgiving weekend.
NNU held the Argos (2-7) to 24.2-percent shooting (15-62) from the field, including an 0-for-11 mark from the three-point arc. Leslie Saunders led UGF with 12 points.
Roggenkamp added nine rebounds to her point totals as the Crusaders out-rebounded UGF 57-31 and hit on 12-of-14 free throws (85.7-percent).
