NAMPA, Idaho - The Northwest Nazarene University volleyball team invites the community to partner with them to help "Bag Breast Cancer" with a fund-raising event that begins on Thursday, October 23rd at the Crusaders match against the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

 

Interested fans will be given a pink fabric bag that they can use to collect donations for the fight against breast cancer.  On October 30th the Crusader Volleyball program will be hosting a Breast Cancer Awareness night at which time fans will be able to empty their collections into a larger pink bag that will then be donated to assist the fight against breast cancer.

 

Anyone bringing more than $10 in donations will receive a pink NNU volleyball t-shirt to commemorate the evening.

 

The Crusader volleyball team, currently 11-7 overall and 5-4 in Great Northwest Athletic Conference play, will host Alaska Fairbanks on Thursday and the University of Alaska Anchorage on Saturday night, with both matches to begin at 7:00 p.m. 

 

Breast Cancer Awareness night on October 30th will feature a match against Montana State Billings that also begins at 7:00 p.m.
