Jamie Lindvall

Jamie Lindvall

Currently in his tenth year at NNU, Lindvall has seen the Great Northwest Athletic Conference develop into one of the premier  conferences in the country at the NCAA Division II level.  Assisted by his wife Rachel, Jamie joined the NNU family in 2003 after spending the three previous years as the head women‘s soccer coach at The Master‘s College in Santa Clarita, CA. Coach Lindvall led the Mustangs to their best record in program history in 2001 as they posted 12 victories and advanced to the championship game of the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) tournament in Kissimmee, FL. Jamie was named NCCAA West Region Women‘s Soccer Coach of the Year in both 2001 and 2002.

Jamie holds an NSCAA Premier Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

Lindvall graduated Magna Cum Laude from The Master‘s College in 1999 with a Bachelor‘s Degree in Physical Education and Athletic Training, and received his NATABOC Certification in August of 2000.

Lindvall spent his childhood living throughout Central America, where his parents served as missionaries for over 20 years. Growing up in a culture that revolved around soccer gave him a tremendous appreciation for the game.

"Spending the last nine years at NNU has been a great experience for me and Rachel, both from a coaching standpoint and just from the standpoint of two employees.  The opportunity to integrate faith with a quality Division II athletics program is definitely something we don't take for granted.  We are very blessed to be able to be a part of the Christian community here at NNU and to have the opportunity to compete in what is arguably the best DII women's soccer conference in the country."
